PistolPress’s inaugural publication, Pistol, is a dynamic anthology of Canadian poetry, prose, and visual art.

Comprised of sixteen authors and five artists, Pistol is a catalogue of distinctive works which complement each other. The writing is quirky and provocative—ranging from prosaic defenses of handkerchiefs to zombie deer to Jesus being resurrected in Thunder Bay.

Pistol also features a series of non-functioning firearm diagrams, hand-drawn woodcut typography, and variegated illustrations. It is printed on 100% post-consumer paper and cover stock, using vegetable-based ink.
